提升学生英语能力,凸显学校英语特色 ----第十二期教师论坛略记

    201718日,全校教师在我校四楼多媒体教室参加第十二期教师论坛。本期教师论坛围绕如何提高学生英语能力展开。针对平日教学工作中常出现的问题,结合教师在实际工作中积累的经验,通过案例分析、互动分享交流的方式进行,创建互相学习、共同研究的教育教学氛围。

    The 12th Pro-D was held in the multipurpose classroom on January 8th. The Pro-D focused on how to improve students English ability. Teachers presented their case analyses combined with daily teaching in different ways, such as giving a speech or free talking.

    ESL、高中总领事处、初中部、小学部推荐一名老师围绕此次话题进行10分钟演讲,每一位老师演讲结束后,就演讲者的内容进行5分钟的自由讨论发言。

    The speakers were from different departments, and everyone had to finish their presentation within 10 minutes. After that, all the teachers had a discussion on the given topic.

    每位演讲者的岗位有所不同,他们结合着自身的岗位特点,从不同角度对“如何提升英语能力”进行了具体的讲述。他们各自都有独到的见解和切实可行的具体措施。雷瑜老师从一名小学英语教师的角度,阐述了如何高效地利用早读时间来激发学生大声地朗读英语。高中领事周荣老师,从领事角度分析和阐述了如何提升高中学生的英语成绩。如:及时与任课教师沟通交流英语薄弱学生的学习情况,制定适合这部分学生的改进措施并且跟进课堂,以便获取更直接的信息。初中部肖静老师,结合初中学生的心理特点以及枫叶教材的特点,设计出系列性特色课程,充分调动学生学习英语的激情。

    All the speakers gave their speeches in a unique way. They not only solved the problems that they found, but they had also found for variety of effective methods to solve them.

    每位教师的演讲都各具千秋,在场的每位老师受益匪浅,在互动分享交流环节,每位老师的交流都余犹未尽。众所周知,理论要联系实际,我们要用枫叶的思想去解决问题,以枫叶的模式去实践教学。                     

    It is well-known that theories need to be put into practice to work, so all of us should use our Maple Leaf philosophy as the basis for our work.
